My experience at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul was truly nice. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the stay enjoyable. However, the location was quite isolated, which might not suit those looking to explore the city's landmarks easily.

Rooms
9.0
The Deluxe Double Room with River View was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom was a bit small with the tub and shower combined. I appreciated the HDMI port for my laptop.
Service
10.0
The service was excellent. The club lounge staff, especially Ms. Lim, were particularly helpful, and they went above and beyond, even offering to get eggs for breakfast when they were running low. Additionally, Ms. Oh Ji Hyun assisted me with my heavy luggage during checkout, making the experience smooth.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated on a hill, quite far from the main attractions of Seoul, which was surprising. While it offered excellent river views, commuting to the city took a while, making it less ideal for sightseeing.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast buffet was nice but pricey. I found the dining options at the hotel to be on the expensive side, and while they had Korean and American food, I expected a bit more flavor for the steep price.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities included convenient services such as room service, laundry, and a helpful shuttle to the metro. Overall, the amenities matched the hotel's upscale vibe, though the dining options could be more affordable.

My stay at Grand Walkerhill Seoul was a mix of highs and lows. The location offered a nice escape from the busy city, which I appreciated, but getting there was pretty pricey. While the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, the expensive dining options left a bit to be desired. Overall, it was a unique experience, but not without its drawbacks.

Rooms
7.0
I had a Deluxe Double Room with River View. It was clean and well-maintained, but the unusual bathroom layout felt cramped. Definitely not a spacious retreat.
Service
9.0
The staff were lovely and made all efforts to ensure a pleasant stay. They even provided a nice wine and cheese plate as an apology for a booking issue, which was a thoughtful touch.
Location
6.0
The hotel is quite secluded, halfway up Walker Hill. While it offers a sense of tranquility, it also means you're far from city amenities, making it tough to explore without incurring high transport costs.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were expensive, frustratingly so for the quality offered. The buffet during 'Happy Hours' was enjoyable, but I found myself often opting for the convenience store downstairs.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities included everything you'd expect from a high-end hotel, but many outdoor amenities were closed during my stay. I felt this limited the full experience.

6.0/10

I recently stayed at Grand Walkerhill Seoul and while it has some stunning features, there were significant drawbacks. The hotel is beautifully designed, and the staff is generally friendly and polite, but communication was often hindered due to limited English skills among the staff. The location offers great views, but it felt isolated, making accessibility to local attractions a challenge.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a deluxe room with a river view, but found the design cramped. The bathroom layout was particularly odd, lacking a proper door, which made it less than ideal.
Service
7.0
The staff were kind and polite, but many had difficulty with English. This was frustrating at times, especially when asking for directions or assistance.
Location
6.0
The hotel is set in a beautiful area up in the hills, providing excellent river views, but it's quite far from downtown and the nearest subway station involves a challenging walk after getting off the shuttle.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were disappointing—extremely expensive and not that tasty. Breakfast was just okay, and I would recommend eating out if possible.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were below expectations, as many were closed for renovations. I was excited about the pool and spa, but both were unavailable during my visit.

I had a mixed experience at Grand Walkerhill Seoul. The location was beautiful, with a nice view of the Han River and surrounding mountains, but my room felt too compact for the price I paid. While the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the dining options were pretty limited and pricey. Overall, it's decent if you can snag a lower rate.

Rooms
5.0
My room was a bit cramped, almost prison-like, which made it uncomfortable to navigate. The river view was nice, but I wish I had a higher floor to enjoy it fully.
Service
7.0
The staff were lovely and went out of their way to assist me, especially the hardworking convoy team, but I ran into a few issues with towel quality and missing amenities.
Location
6.0
The hotel sits perfectly between the mountains and the Han River, offering great views, though it's a bit isolated from the city, making transport a bit of a hassle sometimes.
Dining
5.0
Dining was quite overpriced and not particularly tasty. I expected more variety and quality for the amount I paid.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, with shuttle services available, which helped with getting around; however, I found the limited dining options a drawback.

My stay at Grand Walkerhill Seoul was a mixed bag. On the one hand, the location offers stunning views of the Han River and some lovely staff members providing decent service. On the other hand, the rooms felt cramped and lacked privacy with no bathroom doors. I also found many amenities overpriced, which left me underwhelmed overall.

Rooms
5.0
The deluxe room felt extremely small, and the design wasn't functional at all. I was surprised by the lack of a bathroom door, and the space between the bed and the TV was tight.
Service
6.0
The staff was kind and tried to be helpful, but not everyone spoke English fluently. They worked hard to make our experience better, yet it could be challenging to communicate sometimes.
Location
6.0
The hotel is situated halfway up Walker Hill, which means it's a bit isolated and hard to reach. While the views are great, the shuttle service could get crowded, and the drivers weren't very communicative.
Dining
5.0
The buffet was decent with a variety of options, but I found prices, especially for drinks, unreasonably high, like 10 or 11 euros for a latte.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel has good facilities like a free shuttle service, but the overall experience felt lacking—especially with no heated indoor pool, which I expected at a hotel of this caliber.
